More than tail feathers

My first attempts at capturing birds in flight was pretty much a bust, unless you really like tail feathers! I've taken a few more stabs at it with limited success. Unfortunately my digital camera is a little slow to fire off, so most of the time I still catch either zip or a few tail feathers. But I've had some success especially with the ever present and playful Blue Jays. I'll keep trying to get a decent pic.

Wonderful action shots and taking birds in flight isn't easy! I think you did great!

I'm anxious to see what kind of birds that visit your feeder. I would love to put one like that out, but I'm sure Mr Bear would make short work of it in the summer! I didn't see any tail feathers, great work!

Thanks for stopping in! I'm actually quite surprised that my raccoon hasn't done any damage to the platform. The platform has been a massive hit and I regularly have 8-12 different species on it at the same time! I'm hoping to attract new visitors this summer.
