Poll results: Meeting online/cyber friends

Thanks for the awesome response on my poll. The results are in and the majority of people (20) voted that they have met an online friend in person, while 12 respondents said that they haven't. What I really enjoyed about this topic was the amount of discussion and feedback that I got from everyone.

Thanks again for making this poll so much fun!

Hi there Owlman :-)

Yep, I have met a fellow blogger and what a great day that was too :-D

Just thought I’d say that I have enjoyed my browse around your blog. I am new to the ‘Nature Blog Network’. I love the idea of your ‘introduce yourself’ posting but as I am not a birder but a gardener you could say I’m a juvenile with birds and wildlife comparing myself with others on your posting. On saying that, I have heaps of enthusiasm that makes up for it ;-)

However, one posting of yours that really caught my eye! ‘If you build it they will come’ I have used too – for a Camera Nestbox that a Blue Tit (Parus caeruleus) pair used. You can see mine here http://blog.shirlsgardenwatch.co.uk/2007/03/if-you-build-it-they-will-come.html - I wonder how many other blogs have used this as a title. Great stuff!

Thanks for sharing all the info on owl boxes. I have been looking for links for owl boxes. I doubt I’d put one up where I am at the moment. Too much to watch in the garden already ;-)

Best wishes :-D

I met my fiance online. It was a totally random meeting, we were not looking for friends or relationships, we just happened to be in the same place at the same moment, and friendship over a couple of years ended up with us living together in two different countries and marriage is ahead.
I also met wonderful friends from far away online.
I'm blessed with great friends!

Thanks so much Juliet, glad to hear you like the blog. I do a lot of different topics that blow my hair back and I'm glad to hear that there are people out there who get a kick out of it.
