I seldom see white crowned sparrow at my feeders and I didn’t see any this winter. This last week one popped up at my feeders to stock up for its migration. I have also been VERY fortunate to have my Indigo Bunting back in the yard – Yipppppeeee!
Well it seems like my Extreme Sparrow Challenge was WAY too easy for the expert birders out there. Doing an ID challenge is tough because you never know whether it's too ez or too tough. Well I've taken note and I will make it tougher in the future. Below are 'better' views of the 5 sparrows in the challenge: Chipping; Song; Tree; Fox and White throated. If you took a stab at the challenge, thanks so much for popping in and participating.
